Our Story

Opened in the summer of 2016, Prime – An American Kitchen and Bar is almost a mirror image of its sister restaurant that resides across Long Island Sound in Huntington, New York.

Tempered glass walls allow a full view of the water from nearly any seat in the house and stay open when the weather allows. Explore our illuminated glass wine room, visible from the both inside and outside the building. With over 750 labels, the floor to ceiling enclosure has separate temperatures for white and red wines. Defined by both innovative departures and classic dishes, Prime offers a curated raw bar, world-class sushi and USDA Prime 21-day dry aged beef paired with enhancements as well as classic steakhouse side dishes and fantastic modern creations. There is no skipping dessert either, with layered s’more’s or movie theater sundaes on the menu.

In warmer weather, sit outside along the deck watching the boats come in with one of our inventive signature cocktail. Dinner is served on the deck or our outdoor cabana bar.
